You may not believe it is possible to lose weight while on a diet which includes toasted almonds (almendras tostadas) but it is achievable. It is crucial to not eat toasted almonds (almendras tostadas) or other high calorie appetizer every day but in moderation.
For example, I allow myself high calorie food once per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet 6 days a week, say 1400 to 1800 calories a day, and then on the 7th day, I eat what I please – within reason of course.
I have been eating this way for the last few weeks and it has aided me to lose 5 kilos. I have not increased my exercise habits or taken any vitamins or diet aids. I have just been careful of what I eat 6 days per week and then eat whatever I like one day a week.

On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat mexican food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating mexican meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. Makes 16 servings.
1 pound raw, blanched whole almonds
1 teaspoon coarse salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon crushed coriander seeds
2 tablespoons olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spread almonds in shallow pan, place in oven until lightly browned, about 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool.
Combine salt, cumin and crushed coriander. Toss almonds with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoned salt. Return to oven for 5 more minutes. Serve warm.

You can adapt the recipe to make it a little bit healthier or with fewer calories as this can assist you to lose 5 kilos easily. It worked for me and could aid you to lose weight as well.
