sweet quesadillas

You might not believe you could lose weight while on a eating plan which includes sweet quesadillas but it is feasible. It is crucial to not eat sweet quesadillas or other high calorie deserts every day but in moderation.

This is what I do, I allow myself rich food once per week. I eat a healthy diet 6 days a week, say 1200 to 1600 calories each day, and then one day, I eat anything – within moderation of course.

I have been eating like this for the last few weeks and it has enabled me to lose 5 kilos. I have not increased my exercise regime or taken any pills or diet aids. I have just been conscious of what I eat on most days and then eat whatever I want one day per week.

I also find it helps to have a little support when on a weight loss program and for that I signed up with the Biggest Loser club. They have lots of tools to show you how to monitor your progress and reach your goals.

On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat mexican food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating mexican meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. Quesadillas Dulce (Sweet Quesadillas)

1 to 2 thin taco-size flour tortillas for each person
1/3  cup fruit spread for each tortilla (at room temperature)
Light sprinkling of salt
Light sprinkling of cinnamon
Fresh fruit for garnish, if desired

Add just enough olive oil to a griddle to lightly cover the bottom. Heat the griddle.

Spread fruit spread on each tortilla to within 1 inch of the edges. Lightly sprinkle with salt. Fold tortilla in half over the fruit spread. Cook the tortilla for a couple minutes on each side. Garnish with fresh fruit and a light sprinkling of ground cinnamon.
