sweet beans

You may not think you can lose weight while on a diet plan which includes sweet beans but it is feasible. It is pivotal to not eat sweet beans or other high calorie deserts every day but in moderation.

For example, I allow myself high calorie food one day per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet for 6 days of the week, say 1400 to 2000 calories each day, and then one day, I eat whatever I want - within moderation of course.

I have been eating this way for the last 6 weeks and it has helped me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise regime or taken any pills or diet aids. I have only been conscious of what I eat most days of the week and then eat whatever I want one day a week.

I also feel it is helpful if you have some support when trying to lose weight and for that I joined the Biggest Loser club. They have numerous tools to show you how to monitor your progress and attain your goals.

On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat mexican food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating mexican meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. If you would like to try|want to try|feel like trying some mexican food, I suggest|advise|propose you make sweet beans which is one of my favourite|most admired|most adored|best loved mexican recipes.

Sweet Beans (Dulce de Frijoles)

2/3 cup pinto beans
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 egg yolks, beaten
1/4 cup pecans, chopped

Cover the beans with water and cook until very soft; drain, then put them in a blender with the milk. Pur?e the beans and strain them through the finest blade of a food mill.

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; add bean mixture, sugar and half of the cinnamon and simmer until thick, about 25 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat, add the beaten egg yolks, then continue cooking over very low heat until quite thick. Pour the mixture onto a plate, top with the nuts, and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon.
