You possibly will not believe you can lose weight while on a diet which includes sofrito but it is feasible. It is pivotal to not eat sofrito or other high calorie misc every day but in moderation.

For instance, I allow myself high calorie food one day per week. I eat a low calorie diet for 6 days of the week, say 1200 to 1800 calories each day, and then on the 7th day, I eat whatever I like – without going crazy of course.

I have been eating like this for the last 6 weeks and it has enabled me to lose 5 kilos. I have not changed my exercise plan or taken any supplements or diet drinks. I have only been aware of what I eat 6 days per week and then eat whatever I like one day of the week.

I also feel it helps to have a little support when trying to lose weight and for that I signed up with the Biggest Loser club. They have many tools to help you monitor your progress and reach your goals.

On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat italian food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating italian meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. Ingredients depend on how much you want to make (this freezes well and can be used throughout the year).

2 or 3 bunches cilantro
2 or 3 medium red bell peppers
2 or 3 green bell peppers
1 large onion (which ever you like the
    best, to your taste)
Garlic cloves (you can add as many cloves
    as you desire, if you like a lot of garlic, more,
    if not 2 or 3 cloves should do)

Wash the vegetables clean. Begin adding portions of EACH ingredient to a food processor or blender. (If you try to do it all at once it may be too hard on your machine.) Chop into a fine consistency. There should be no lumps, it should have the consistency of baby food.

Continue adding vegetables until all of the ingredients have been added to the mixture.

This is very simple to make and it is great in the preparation of any ethnic dish, it has a potent but delicious flavor and only takes a couple of tablespoons to do the job. I posted a recipe awhile back that called for sofrito and now you can make your own!!
