sesame beef

You might not think you could lose weight while on a diet plan which includes sesame beef but it is achievable. It is crucial to not eat sesame beef or other high calorie beef/pork/lamb/veal every day but in moderation.

This is what I do, I allow myself high calorie food once per week. I eat a healthy diet for most of the week, say 1500 to 1800 calories each day, and then on the 7th day, I eat what I please – without going crazy of course.

I have been eating like this for the last 4 weeks and it has helped me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise routine or taken any vitamins or diet food. I have just been careful of what I eat most days of the week and then eat whatever I like one day per week.

I also find it helps to have a little support when dieting and for that I joined the Biggest Loser club. They have lots of tools to show you how to monitor your progress and attain your goals.

On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat chinese food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating chinese meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. Sesame Beef

1 pound beef boneless sirloin steak
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions (3 medium)
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups hot cooked vermicelli

Partially freeze the beef, about 1 1/2 hours. Cut beef diagonally across grain into 1/8-inch slices.

Mix sugar, soy sauce, pepper,green onions and garlic in glass or plastic bowl. Stir in beef until well coated. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. Drain beef mixture.

Heat sesame seed in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, until golden brown. Remove sesame seed from skillet.

Heat oil in same skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef mixture in oil, stirring occasionally, until brown.

Serve over vermicelli, sprinkled with sesame seed.

Yield: 4 servings
