You may not believe you can lose weight while on a eating plan which includes schwarzwalderkirschtorte but it is feasible. It is fundamental to not eat schwarzwalderkirschtorte or other high calorie desserts every day but in moderation.
As an example, I allow myself high calorie food once per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet for most of the week, say 1400 to 1600 calories each day, and then on the 7th day, I eat whatever I like – within reason of course.
I have been eating like this for the last month and it has helped me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise routine or taken any vitamins or diet food. I have simply been aware of what I eat most days of the week and then eat whatever I like one day per week.
I also believe it is helpful if you have some support when trying to lose weight and for that I registered with the Biggest Loser club. They have numerous tools to help you monitor your progress and reach your goals.
On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat German & Austrian food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating German & Austrian meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. 2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Filling
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling, chilled
Frosting
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
12 maraschino cherries
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, flour, milk, baking soda, cocoa, red food coloring, and vanilla. Blend on low, scraping constantly. Beat 3 minutes on high speed. Pour into two 9-inch round cake pans that have been greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. Cool thoroughly.
Whip heavy cream with confectioners’ sugar.
Slice each cake round horizontally to make four layers. Place one layer on flat plate. Fill pastry bag with whipped cream and pipe a generous ring around edge of cake layer. Fill exposed ring of cake with cherry pie filling. Place third layer on top, and frost entire cake with whipped cream. Crumble the fourth layer into fine crumbs and sprinkle on sides of cake.
Using whipped cream, pipe 12 rosettes on top of cake and top each with a maraschino cherry.
Garnish the center top of cake with the rest of the chocolate crumbs.
