sausage appetizer

You might not accept that it is possible to lose weight while on a eating plan which includes sausage appetizer but it is achievable. It is fundamental to not eat sausage appetizer or other high calorie appetizers, nuts every day but in moderation.

This is what I do, I allow myself moderately high calorie food one day per week. I eat a healthy diet for 6 days of the week, say 1400 to 1600 calories per day, and then on the last day, I eat whatever I want - within reason of course.

I have been eating this way for the last few weeks and it has helped me to lose 5 kilos. I have not increased my exercise plan or taken any supplements or diet aids. I have only been conscious of what I eat 6 days per week and then eat whatever I want one day of the week.

On my one free day per week, I tend to eat cajun food. I never thought I could lose 5 kilos while eating cajun meals but am very happy to see it can work. If you want to try some cajun food, I propose you make sausage appetizer which is one of my favourite cajun recipes.

Sausage Appetizer

5 pounds smoked link sausage
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 pound brown sugar
1 tablespoon yellow mustard

Cook sausage in a heavy skillet, barely covering with water, on low heat and cook until all water is boiled away. Pour off all grease and cut sausage into small bite-size pieces. Heat pineapple, brown sugar and mustard until boiling. Stir well and pour over sausage. Serve with wooden picks, very hot, in a chafing dish.

You can adjust the recipe to make it quite a bit healthier or with fewer calories as this can aid you to lose 5 kilos quickly. It did work for me and could assist you to lose weight as well.
