pork lo mein

August 29th, 2008

You might not think it is possible to lose weight while on a diet plan which includes pork lo mein but it can happen. The key is to not eat pork lo mein or other high calorie beef/pork/lamb/veal every day but in moderation.

This is what I do, I allow myself high calorie food once per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet for 6 days of the week, say 1400 to 1800 calories each day, and then one day, I eat whatever I like – within reason of course.

I have been eating this way for the last 4 weeks and it has aided me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise habits or taken any vitamins or diet food. I have just been aware of what I eat 6 days per week and then eat whatever I want one day of the week.

I also believe it is helpful if you have some support when trying to lose weight and for that I joined the Biggest Loser club. They have numerous tools to show you how to monitor your progress and attain your goals.
