You might not believe you could lose weight while on a eating plan which includes pfeffernusse but it can happen. The key is to not eat pfeffernusse or other high calorie desserts every day but in moderation.
For example, I allow myself these kinds of food one meal per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet 6 days a week, say 1500 to 1800 calories each day, and then on the last day, I eat anything – within moderation of course.
I have been eating this way for the last 6 weeks and it has enabled me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise routine or taken any vitamins or diet aids. I have simply been conscious of what I eat on most days and then eat whatever I feel like one day a week.
I also believe it is helpful if you have a little support when dieting and for that I signed up with the Biggest Loser club. They have lots of tools to enable you to monitor your progress and achieve your goals.

4 eggs
1 pound confectioners’ sugar
About 4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
Beat eggs until frothy. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar and lemon juice and rind. Sift flour. Measure and add salt, baking soda and spices. Sift again. Add sifted dry ingredients to egg and sugar mixture. Beat until a medium-soft, smooth dough is formed. Chill dough in refrigerator for several hours.
When thoroughly chilled, divide dough into 5 or 6 parts. Remove one portion from refrigerator at a time and turn out on lightly floured board. Cut off small portions and form into fingerlike sticks, rolling with the flat part of hand. Lay sticks in parallel rows and cut across, making pieces the size of a small marble. Place pieces close together on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees F until they begin to turn a light, golden brown.
