April 11th, 2008

You possibly will not believe it is possible to lose weight while on a diet plan which includes papaya sherbet but it is feasible. It is pivotal to not eat papaya sherbet or other high calorie deserts every day but in moderation.

For example, I allow myself high calorie food once per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet for most of the week, say 1200 to 1600 calories each day, and then one day, I eat what I please – within reason of course.

I have been eating this way for the last month and it has aided me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise regime or taken any pills or diet drinks. I have only been careful of what I eat most days of the week and then eat whatever I feel like one day per week.

On my one day off per week, I tend to eat mexican food. I never believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating mexican meals but am very elated to see it does work. If you feel like trying some mexican food, I propose you make papaya sherbet which is one of my favourite mexican recipes.

Papaya Sherbet

2 papayas
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon orange liqueur
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Remove the seeds and skins from the papayas and dice them.

Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and mix well. until very smooth. Pour into a refrigerator tray or shallow pan and freeze until sherbet has the consistency of mush.

Remove from freezer and stir vigorously.

Refreeze until mush again; repeat stirring. Return to freezer until ready to serve.

You can change the recipe to make it quite a bit healthier or with not so many calories as this can assist you to lose 5 kilos quickly. It was successful for me and could assist you to lose weight also.
