mango daiquiris

You might not accept that you could lose weight while on a eating plan which includes mango daiquiris but it is possible. It is pivotal to not eat mango daiquiris or other high calorie beverages every day but in moderation.

For instance, I allow myself rich food one day per week. I eat a healthy diet for most of the week, say 1400 to 1600 calories per day, and then 1 day, I eat whatever I want – without going overboard of course.

I have been sticking to this diet for the last month and it has enabled me to lose 5 kilos. I have not increased my exercise regime or taken any vitamins or diet food. I have simply been aware of what I eat most days of the week and then eat whatever I like one day per week.

On my one free day per week, I usually like to eat mexican food. I never imagined I could lose 5 kilos while eating mexican meals but am very happy to see it does work. If you feel like trying some mexican food, I advise you make mango daiquiris which is one of my best loved mexican recipes.

Mango Daiquiris

2 large, ripe mangos, peeled and chunked
1 (16 ounce) jar or can of mango slices, undrained
2 to 3 cups ice cubes
10 ounces light rum
2 ounces dark rum
Juice of 2 Mexican limes

In a blender, pur?e all the ingredients in two batches and pour into a pitcher. Store in the freezer briefly or serve immediately.

If you cannot find fresh mangos, use a 26- to 28-ounce jar or can of the fruit with syrup in the recipe. Add a little more lime juice to counterbalance the sugar.

You can change the recipe to make it a little healthier or with fewer calories as this can assist you to lose 5 kilos rapidly. It worked for me and could assist you to lose weight too.
