holy guacamole

You might not believe you can lose weight while on a diet which includes holy guacamole but it is feasible. It is crucial to not eat holy guacamole or other high calorie appetizer every day but in moderation.

This is what I do, I allow myself rich food once per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet for most of the week, say 1400 to 2000 calories each day, and then one day, I eat anything - within reason of course.

I have been eating this way for the last 4 weeks and it has helped me to lose 5 kilos. I have not changed my exercise habits or taken any vitamins or diet drinks. I have just been conscious of what I eat on most days and then eat whatever I feel like one day a week.

I also think it makes things easier if you have some support when on a weight loss program and for that I signed up with the Biggest Loser club. They have lots of tools to enable you to monitor your progress and attain your goals.

On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat mexican food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating mexican meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. Holy Guacamole

Serves 4 as appetizer.

2 ripe Haas avocados
2 teaspoons Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy blend
1/2 cup lightly packed cilantro leaves, finely diced,
    stems discarded before measuring
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 scallions, finely chopped

Cut the avocados in half lengthwise, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh out of the peels. Add all the ingredients to a bowl. Blend with a fork until the mixture is just slightly lumpy. Garnish with triangular tortilla chips.
