You might not believe you can lose weight while on a diet which includes holy guacamole but it is feasible. It is crucial to not eat holy guacamole or other high calorie appetizer every day but in moderation.
This is what I do, I allow myself rich food once per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet for most of the week, say 1400 to 2000 calories each day, and then one day, I eat anything - within reason of course.

2 ripe Haas avocados
2 teaspoons Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy blend
1/2 cup lightly packed cilantro leaves, finely diced,
stems discarded before measuring
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 scallions, finely chopped
Cut the avocados in half lengthwise, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh out of the peels. Add all the ingredients to a bowl. Blend with a fork until the mixture is just slightly lumpy. Garnish with triangular tortilla chips.
