healthy beef or pork stir fry

You might not accept that it is possible to lose weight while on a diet which includes healthy beef or pork stir fry but it is possible. The key is to not eat healthy beef or pork stir fry or other high calorie beef/pork/lamb/veal every day but in moderation.

For example, I allow myself these kinds of food one day per week. I eat a low calorie diet for 6 days of the week, say 1200 to 2000 calories each day, and then on the 7th day, I eat whatever I like – without going crazy of course.

I have been eating this way for the last 4 weeks and it has enabled me to lose 5 kilos. I have not increased my exercise plan or taken any vitamins or diet food. I have just been conscious of what I eat 6 days per week and then eat whatever I feel like one day per week.

I also think it makes things easier if you have some support when trying to lose weight and for that I signed up with the Biggest Loser club. They have several tools to enable you to monitor your progress and achieve your goals.

Healthy Beef or Pork Stir Fry

This is a recipe from the American Heart Association.

1 pound lean boneless, beef top round
    steak or 1 pound lean boneless, pork
    loin sliced in 1/4-inch thick strip
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 pound fresh broccoli florets,
    separated, stems chopped
1/2 pound carrots, cut in 1/8-inch diagonal slices
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Trim excess fat from meat. Quickly brown lean beef or pork trips in hot oil in large skillet, stirring constantly. Add onion, broccoli stems and carrots. Cook until vegetables are hot, but crisp, stirring constantly. Add broccoli florets and soy sauce; cook and stir one minute.
