You may not think it is possible to lose weight while on a eating plan which includes halvah but it can happen. It is fundamental to not eat halvah or other high calorie desserts every day but in moderation.
For example, I allow myself moderately high calorie food once per week. I eat a healthy diet for most of the week, say 1200 to 1800 calories each day, and then 1 day, I eat anything – within reason of course.
I have been eating like this for the last 6 weeks and it has helped me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise routine or taken any pills or diet food. I have simply been aware of what I eat 6 days per week and then eat whatever I want one day of the week.

On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat middle eastern food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating middle eastern meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. 1 cup sesame seeds
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1 tablespoon cocoa or carob powder (optional)
Grind sesame seeds into a nut butter. Scrape out into a bowl and dribble in the honey. Mix well until you get a sticky mass. For chocolate halvah, mix in cocoa well. Allow it to become marbled. For more vanilla flavor, add vanilla extract with the honey.
Line a small (about 4 x 3 inches) box with wax paper and press in the mixture. Put into the refrigerator to chill for about an hour. Remove from refrigerator, and slice into cubes.
