You might not accept that you could lose weight while on a diet which includes french pepper steaks but it can happen. The key is to not eat french pepper steaks or other high calorie beef/pork/lamb/veal every day but in moderation.
For example, I allow myself these kinds of food once per week. I eat a low calorie diet for most of the week, say 1200 to 1800 calories a day, and then one day, I eat anything – without going crazy of course.
I have been eating this way for the last month and it has helped me to lose 5 kilos. I have not increased my exercise routine or taken any vitamins or diet food. I have only been careful of what I eat most days of the week and then eat whatever I like one day of the week.
I also believe it makes things easier if you have a little support when dieting and for that I registered with the Biggest Loser club. They have many tools to enable you to monitor your progress and reach your goals.
On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat french food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating french meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. 4 beef tenderloins, 1 1/2 inches thick
3 tablespoons cognac or brandy
1/4 teaspoon tarragon
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 pint heavy cream
Grind Lots of pepper into a dish, sprinkle in tarragon. Press tenderloins in dish and grind more pepper on top. Press in with flat of knife.
In a hot skillet, add 2 tablespoons butter and brown meat on both sides. Turn and cook about 3 minutes more for rare (or cook more to your preference). Remove to a platter and turn heat to low. Add remaining butter, melt and add brandy slowly, letting brand cook out and scraping brown bits. Add cream, mix in well and season to taste. Pour sauce over tenderloins.
