You may not accept that you could lose weight while on a diet which includes date candy but it is possible. It is fundamental to not eat date candy or other high calorie desserts every day but in moderation.
For instance, I allow myself moderately high calorie food one day per week. I eat a low calorie diet for most of the week, say 1200 to 2000 calories per day, and then on the last day, I eat anything – without going crazy of course.
I have been eating this way for the last 4 weeks and it has aided me to lose 5 kilos. I have not increased my exercise plan or taken any supplements or diet drinks. I have only been conscious of what I eat on most days and then eat whatever I feel like one day a week.
I also think it helps to have some support when trying to lose weight and for that I signed up with the Biggest Loser club. They have many tools to help you monitor your progress and reach your goals.
On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat southwestern food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating southwestern meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. 1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 pound chopped, pitted dates
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons butter
In a saucepan, mix milk, honey, sugar and salt; bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 minutes. Add chopped pecans and dates. Stir the mixture until it is thick. This should take less than 1 minute. Stir in vanilla extract and butter and spoon the mixture into a greased mold or onto a plate and allow it to cool.
To use as a filling for pie, either double or increase the recipe by 50 percent, depending on the size of the pie plate. Pour the mixture into a pre-baked crust.
You can vary|alter|change|adjust|adapt the recipe to make it a little|a little bit|quite a bit healthier or with fewer|less|not so many calories as this can help|aid|assist you to lose 5 kilos quickly|rapidly|easily.
