You may not think it is possible to lose weight while on a diet which includes corn creole but it is obtainable. It is pivotal to not eat corn creole or other high calorie vegatables every day but in moderation.

For instance, I allow myself high calorie food once per week. I eat a healthy diet for 6 days of the week, say 1400 to 2000 calories a day, and then 1 day, I eat what I please – without going crazy of course.

I have been using this method for the last 4 weeks and it has aided me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise habits or taken any pills or diet aids. I have only been careful of what I eat most days of the week and then eat whatever I want one day per week.

I also think it makes things easier if you have a little support when trying to lose weight and for that I signed up with the Biggest Loser club. They have numerous tools to enable you to monitor your progress and attain your goals.

On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat cajun food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating cajun meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. Corn Creole

This is excellent for potluck dinners or buffet suppers.

1 small onion
1 clove garlic
1 small green bell pepper or 4 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups cooked tomatoes
1 cup cream-style corn
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup milk
1/3 cup minced ripe olives

Saut? finely chopped onion, garlic, and green pepper or parsley in hot shortening until limp but not brown. Add beef and seasonings; cook slowly for 10 minutes. Add tomatoes and corn; boil briskly; stir in the corn meal; and add milk and olives. Bake uncovered for 1 hour in a well-greased baking dish at 325 degrees F.

Serves 6.
