chocolate spritz cookies

You possibly will not think you can lose weight while on a diet which includes chocolate spritz cookies but it is achievable. It is crucial to not eat chocolate spritz cookies or other high calorie desserts every day but in moderation.

As an example, I allow myself high calorie food one day per week. I eat a healthy diet for 6 days of the week, say 1200 to 2000 calories each day, and then on the 7th day, I eat anything – without going crazy of course.

I have been eating this way for the last month and it has enabled me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise habits or taken any pills or diet aids. I have only been conscious of what I eat on most days and then eat whatever I feel like one day a week.

On my one day off per week, I tend to eat German & Austrian food. I never imagined I could lose 5 kilos while eating German & Austrian meals but am very glad to see it can work. If you would like to try some German & Austrian food, I suggest you make chocolate spritz cookies which is one of my favourite German & Austrian recipes.

Chocolate Spritz Cookies

1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups flour
1/3 cup Hershey?s? Cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract. Combine flour, cocoa and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture; mix well.

Fill cookie press. Use attachments to form cookie designs 1 inch apart on unbuttered cookie sheets. Bake 5 to 7 minutes or just until set. Transfer cookies to wire rack; cool completely.

Makes 4 1/2 dozen.

You can vary the recipe to make it a little healthier or with less calories as this can aid you to lose 5 kilos rapidly. It did work for me and could aid you to lose weight too.
