You may not accept that it is possible to lose weight while on a diet which includes chinese fried buns but it can happen. It is pivotal to not eat chinese fried buns or other high calorie rice, noodles, dumplings every day but in moderation.
This is what I do, I allow myself rich food once per week. I eat a healthy diet 6 days a week, say 1200 to 1800 calories a day, and then on the last day, I eat anything – within reason of course.
I have been eating this way for the last 6 weeks and it has enabled me to lose 5 kilos. I have not changed my exercise habits or taken any pills or diet drinks. I have just been aware of what I eat most days of the week and then eat whatever I want one day of the week.
I also think it makes things easier if you have a little support when trying to lose weight and for that I joined the Biggest Loser club. They have lots of tools to enable you to monitor your progress and reach your goals.
On my one day off|non diet day|free day per week, I like|prefer|tend|usually like to eat chinese food. I never imagined|thought|believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating chinese meals but am very pleased|happy|glad|elated to see it is possible|does work|can work|can happen. 6 ounces sweet potatoes
10 ounces red bean paste
1 1/2 cups glutinous rice flour
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup sesame seeds
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 cup hot water
Peel the sweet potatoes and boil them till tender, then mash them.
Sift the glutinous rice flour and flour together then blend together with the sugar and mashed sweet potato. Knead the mixture well and sprinkle in the hot water. Knead the dough into small balls and then roll each ball into a flat round shape. Spoon some red bean paste into each as stuffing and shape into balls around the filling. Brush the balls with cold water, then coat thoroughly with sesame seeds. Deep fry on a low heat until the balls are golden and swollen. Drain and serve.
