chicken or veal scallopini

You may not believe you could lose weight while on a diet plan which includes chicken or veal scallopini but it is feasible. The key is to not eat chicken or veal scallopini or other high calorie poultry every day but in moderation.

For example, I allow myself rich food one day per week. I eat a healthy diet 6 days a week, say 1400 to 2000 calories per day, and then on the 7th day, I eat anything – without going crazy of course.

I have been eating this way for the last month and it has aided me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise routine or taken any supplements or diet aids. I have just been aware of what I eat 6 days per week and then eat whatever I feel like one day of the week.

On my one free day per week, I prefer to eat italian food. I never imagined I could lose 5 kilos while eating italian meals but am very pleased to see it does work. If you want to try some italian food, I suggest you make chicken or veal scallopini which is one of my best loved italian recipes.

Chicken or Veal Scallopini

1 pound chicken breasts or veal cutlets (cut thin)
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2/3 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup pure olive oil

Pound chicken or veal gently between wax paper ( 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick for veal and 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick for chicken).

In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and garlic powder. Pour 1/2 cup olive oil in another shallow bowl.

Dip each chicken or veal piece into olive oil and let excess drip. Press meat into bread crumb mixture, coating well and set aside until all meat is breaded.

In a heavy non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat and saut? until golden on both sides. Drain on paper towels and serve with pasta and red sauce.

You can adapt the recipe to make it a little healthier or with not so many calories as this can assist you to lose 5 kilos rapidly. It worked for me and could help you to lose weight as well.
