You might not accept that it is possible to lose weight while on a eating plan which includes cajun meatloaf but it can happen. The key is to not eat cajun meatloaf or other high calorie beef/pork/lamb/veal every day but in moderation.
As an example, I allow myself these kinds of food once per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet for most of the week, say 1400 to 2000 calories per day, and then on the last day, I eat whatever I want – without going overboard of course.
I have been eating like this for the last 6 weeks and it has helped me to lose 5 kilos. I have not accelerated my exercise regime or taken any vitamins or diet drinks. I have just been conscious of what I eat on most days and then eat whatever I want one day per week.
On my one free day per week, I tend to eat cajun food. I never believed I could lose 5 kilos while eating cajun meals but am very elated to see it does work. If you would like to try some cajun food, I suggest you make cajun meatloaf which is one of my best loved cajun recipes.

I made this Cajun Meatloaf for dinner tonight and it was GOOD! It is spicy so, anyone who likes mild food, skip this one. I don’t know where I got this one from, so if anyone recognizes it as their post, thanks!
3 pounds ground beef
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 small bell pepper, diced
1 onion, chopped
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
2 slices stale bread or rolls
2 eggs
1 teaspoon Cajun spice blend
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (more or less, to taste)
1 tablespoon gumbo fil? powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
Pat into ungreased loaf pan and bake for about 45 minutes, until done.
Servings: 6
Racky Rain notes: I didn’t have any stale bread (my kids tend to eat any bread before it gets a chance to go stale), so I used bread crumbs. I judged from the consistency of the mix when I had it about right. I also didn’t use gumbo file powder or salt. I used Emeril’s Essence instead and used about 2 to 3 teaspoons. It turned out really well.
You can adapt the recipe to make it a little bit healthier or with not so many calories as this can aid you to lose 5 kilos rapidly. It worked for me and could assist you to lose weight as well.
