You may not think you can lose weight while on a diet plan which includes apache corn soup but it is feasible. The key is to not eat apache corn soup or other high calorie soups every day but in moderation.
For instance, I allow myself moderately high calorie food one meal per week. I eat a calorie controlled diet 6 days a week, say 1200 to 1800 calories per day, and then on the last day, I eat whatever I want – within reason of course.
I have been using this method for the last month and it has enabled me to lose 5 kilos. I have not changed my exercise routine or taken any vitamins or diet food. I have only been aware of what I eat on most days and then eat whatever I feel like one day a week.
On my one day off per week, I prefer to eat native american food. I never thought I could lose 5 kilos while eating native american meals but am very elated to see it can work. If you would like to try some native american food, I suggest you make apache corn soup which is one of my most admired native american recipes.
Peel the acorns and grind them. The outer part of the acorn is not used.
1 (2 1/2 pound) beef roast
2 quarts water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup ground acorn meal
Cover beef with water and bring to boil in a heavy pot. Simmer several hours until beef is very tender, adding salt and pepper. Remove the beef, while letting the pot continue to boil. Shred the beef, then mix it with the acorn meal. Add this mixture to the broth and simmer together until the broth bubbles creamy-white with yellow flecks.
You can adapt the recipe to make it quite a bit healthier or with not so many calories as this can help you to lose 5 kilos rapidly. It did work for me and could help you to lose weight also.
